Had to replace one of our biggest radiators in our home. Tyler and his other coworker gave us phenomenal service. They spent more then half of their day here making sure the job was done right, along with carrying an extremely heavy radiator down a flight of stairs. Great, friendly and dedicated service. Will always call Folkes if we need any help with our heat or plumbing.
Customer was changing the thermostats and switched the y wire around, I retires the thermostat and both systems came on. Systems are operating properly.
Found leak in evap coil, customer needs pricing to replace it. This leak search should have been the original option which is why there was no charge for it.
Found the zone valve locked open as if someone was purging 5e system in he past, released it and the zone closed. The reason they were feeling heat from that zone was because when the hot water was being made there was also water from the boiler going to that zone. Tested zone everything is operating properly.
Customer was low on Freon. Recharged unit, checked temperatures, system operating normally. Customer would also like follow up to install 2 toilets. Filled out follow up form with information.
Hook up my gauges and found my super heat in negatives. Went upstairs to the air handler and found a plugged filter. Cleaned the Honeywell filters and out back. System is operating properly again.

Arrived at customers home for whole home drain backup. Advised customer toilet needed to be pulled to access drain. After clearing drain and sending the camera down found backpitch which is most likely the cause of clogs. Tested drain everything is draining as of today. Also found small drip from lower seal bolts between tank and bowl of toilet before pulling.
Performed annual maintenance on gas boiler checked all parts and cleaned burners and around boiler did combustion test burners were rusted cleaned with wire brush checked gas pressures and it was low for propane only getting 8 inches of water column need to call propane company
Arrived at customers home for a possible recall. Found union lose on heating line in basement do to radiator install last week. Tighten union no leaks.
Remove existing radiator that is leaking. Install new 28 section cast iron radiator, new radiator valve and any fittings needed to connect new radiator. Dimensions of new radiator are, 19"H x 4"D x 49"W. There is a 2 week lead time to get new radiator.
Customer stated heat didnâ€™t come back on after set for 70. Found system running upon arrival. Cycled system dozens of times and system started each time. Thermostat not accurate. Recommended to change to digital thermostat. Customer will replace himself. Did not see any other problems at this time. Still need to follow up with customer regarding leaking radiator. Courtesy.
Found faulty boiler relay. Replaced boiler relay and checked system operation. Recommended annual maintenance. Customer has leaking radiator in second floor bedroom. Need to see if radiator can be replaced. Need to follow up with customer.
Found pilot flame out upon arrival. Replaced thermocouple pilot sensor and pilot burner. Cycled system and checked operation. Need to call customer to schedule maintenance.
Recommend removing mixing Valve off of indirect water heater, and add a tee, if issue continues after removing part recommend replacing tank, System operational.
Clean and service oil Boiler with Maintenance Agreement. Mail copy of receipt to customer
