Performed single system tune up. Checked electrical on indoor unit, inspected ductwork and cleared drain line. Checked electrical on outdoor unit and checked pressures in heating and cooling. System is functioning properly upon departure. Items that are mandatory to get and keep system running. Items that will need to be addressed soon. System Enhancements will make a major difference to the life, performance and air quality of your HVAC system.
Found no dropped or loose ductwork. Only issue is leakage around seams and connections. We were supposed to duct seal with mastic on install and we didn’t so we’re going to just take care of the customer tomorrow with a mastic duct seal. System is functioning properly upon departure.
Arrived on call no cooling upon inspection found main level unit needing a blower motor and wheel, upstairs system needs new outdoor fan motor. Customer has a home warranty and is checking with them. Cost of repairs $2016.30 don’t recommend repairs due to age, got comfort advisor headed out to give options.
Arrived on call no cooling, customer stated sometimes it quits blowing and outdoor unit keeps running, upon inspection found the blower motor is going out, also the husband said they had to use the heat strips all winter due to issues with reversing valve, checked valve to find it defective. Also compressor pulling high amps and disconnect box is hot to the touch. Due to all issues and age of system plus still operating on the old refrigerant recommend upgrading system. Will have comfort advisor come out to give options.
Found system a little low on refrigerant and freezing up. Did a leak detection and could not find any leaks. We will need to send someone else with a better leak detector to verify leak. System is cooling properly upon departure.
Performed single system tune up. First turned system on and noticed the blower motor not coming on. There was a lose connection on one of the low voltage wires that plugs into the motor. Secured the connection and system started running correctly. Checked all electrical in the AHU, everything looks good. Aprilaire filter was dirty, replaced 213 filter. Inspected duct work, a good bit of bacterial growth is starting to spread throughout the duct system. Needs to be addressed with our breathe easy package. Checked electrical on outdoor unit, fan motor over amping but functional. Checked pressures and also cleaned outdoor unit. System is functioning properly upon departure. Customer pulled new thermostat wire but fuse was blown system working upon departure
Upon arrival found one year old system air handler flipped upside down with coil rotated,No safety switch @ evaporator coil conventional air conditioner outside, house has only electric heat, checked all components cleaned oil‘s equipment operating upon departure.
Arrived on call to perform cooling inspection cycled system checked all components refrigerant wiring amps motor controllers and cleaned/flushed drains and outdoor coils. System working properly at this time.
I arrived on this date for service to perform regular maintenance, did so, found system over charged; adjusted charge: in doing so cust said his power bills had recently tripled..this should also
Arrived on call no cooling, upon inspection found a shorted motor controller, replaced cycled system all working at time.
Replaced thermostat. System operating properly upon departure.
Performed system clean and check. Found rusty evaporator coils. Outside pressure are good. Found no other areas of concern. System cooling properly upon departure.
