I made sure to rinse out the outdoor coils on both units. During my evaluation I discovered the following: Guest House: the Reme Halo has completely failed, the condenser fan motor is leaking oil, the blower motor is leaking oil, and the contactor is pitted and charred. Main House: the blower motor is leaking oil, the evaporator coil is heavily corroded and rusted, the contactor is pitted and charred, and the Reme Halo bulb has failed. The homeowner elected not to do any work at this time with either system. He did elect to renew his maintenance plan at this time. Systems are in working order at completion of appointment.
