Another costly visit from Go Green

Mike is a nice guy but on a maintenance visit today that Go Green initiated we had more problems and were told we needed to spend 740 dollars or our basement would be flooding. We paid it but this is it for our association with Go Green. I am sure the company will be glad to get rid of us also so this is what you call a friendly divorce.

Excellent service

Phil is without a doubt one of the best technicians we’ve ever worked with. His experience and knowledge in the field has been a tremendous asset. He has never pressured us into any unnecessary work, and his guidance over the years has kept our heating system running smoothly.

Poor job

We pay a monthly service charge of 27 dollars a month. With that 320 dollar yearly fee we are supposed to get our heating system checked on an annual basis and also get free of chard a carbon monoxide tester. The men thought they were fixing a boiler and then water heater. We told him we had Naviance. They checked if heat was working., stated only a few minutes then left. Not a typical thorough check up. Needless to say that after our contract runs out we will go looking for another company-in fact we chose one already for next year. My wife and I are good people. A retired nurse and a still working high school teacher with excellent relationships with our electrician, landscaper, window installer and other vendors. In fact we have been called the nicest people they know. It just seems to be our relationship with you has never worked from the 1700 dollar toilet bowl to other outrageous prices. We are going to “cut our losses” and end our relationship at the end of the year.

Misinformed

I was told on the phone that your company does AC installations. We have a through the wall unit that we want to replace. However when the technician came, I was told that your company doesn’t do that. It is not Kimberly’s fault. I was given wrong info by someone else.

good service reliable

i had Casey at my residence Friday and he was a real gentleman and worked hard to complete the task in a timely manor. Casey also returned on Monday to cleaup and remove the debris, thumbs up. to Phil also he trained him well.

Arrived, greeted Robert and proceeded to rip and tear out an old gas fired furnace. We stand installed a new Amana 85% efficient gas fired furnace. We reworked the the wiring. We rewired and relocated the units service switch. We re-roughed the gas line. And we created a new furnace transitional piece connecting to the main trunk supply. We applied ductwork mastic with tape to seal up the unit. We restored power, purged the gas lines and fired up the furnace. The unit fired, ran, cycled and reached temperature. The unit is operating as it should. Robert was very satisfied with the service.

Met with Robert, Annette and Marquis. We proceeded to go downstairs and troubleshoot the gas fired furnace. Upon ignition the inducer fan was jammed and not turning. I spun nit several times to free it up. I was able to get the furnace to begin the sequence of operation. The furnace fired and ran. The furnace has several issues going on. It needs a new inducer fan assembly, plus it has severe flame rollout while running. Based on the age of the furnace with the price of repairs. It is best to replace the unit. This furnace is too severely compromised to perform any repairs. No repairs should be completed. This furnace needs to be replaced. We worked up several pricing options and explained in detail to the customers. They agreed to move forward and replace the unit. Customers were very satisfied with the service.

The customer already ordered water heater and knows there is no guarantees or warranty’s on the water heater they are supplying. Gave customer the only option there was for installing customer supplied water heater and customer said he still has to get other companies pricing first. Customer was satisfied we were able to give him options today.

Met with Jose and proceeded to diagnose the no heat call for the basement zone. Connected the hose and purged the heating zone. Zone was air locked. Heating restored to the basement zone. I had Jose walk throughout the home to confirm heating operating properly. Jose was satisfied with the service. Job completed.

Arrived to customers house for a plumbing service regarding a burst pipe in the master bedroom. The pipe that did burst was a baseboard line on side of bedroom by garage against wall. Pipe burst caused buckling in a lot of the hardware flooring in 2/3 bedrooms and hallway, as well as ruining the ceiling in garage and laundry room in the basement. Repaired burst with 2 couplings and a straight length of pipe, purged boiler and ran line to see no leaks or drips in repair. Everything is now running smooth plumbing and boiler wise. Customer is very satisfied with services provided today.

Met with Arnold and proceeded to diagnose the source of the leak. The Weil-McLain ultra was discharging form the pressure relief valve with a full expansion tank. I quoted the replacement cost of a new expansion tank. Arnold accepted. I replaced the expansion tank and the leak has been eliminated. Job completed. Arnold was very happy with the service.

Met with Peter and proceeded to troubleshoot the no heat service call. Diagnosed a bad fan center relay and a ignition control module. Replaced the items, restored power and the boiler fired, ran, cycled and provided heat throughout the home. Peter was very happy with the service!

Arrived to customers home for a service call regarding kitchen sink faucet install and new basket strainer. Gave customer options on different ways of going about fixing the situation happening. Customer went through with an option and got started on job. Went to supply house, grabbed parts needed, and went back to install new faucet and basket strainer. No leaks or drips of any kind when done with install. Customer was very satisfied with work and services provided today.

Arrived to customers house for a sneaking service. Sink was clogged and I use drum snake to try and unclog line. Snaked up to 30 feet but was unsuccessful in snaking the line. Customer needs to be reschedule for tomorrow for another snaking service with a bigger snake. Customer was satisfied with service provided today

Met with Ron and proceeded to troubleshoot the water leaking in the basement. Basement was flooded. I walked over to the sump pump in the corner of the home, pulled the drain line hose wrapped around the pump float switch and it began to operate properly. I observed the pump suck the water out of the basement.

Showed up to customers home to perform a Navien water heater service. Removed the air intake filter screen along with the drain trap and cleaned it off. Flushed the hot and cold water lines. Removed and inspected the igniter. Cleaned the flame sensor. Exercised the two pressure relief valves. One of the valves would not close and seal properly. Called Joe and Susan to show the findings. Pulled up a replacement estimate and they agreed to have the repair done. Took full payment for the repair from Joe. Drove out to the supply house to pick up parts. Came back to the job to shut down and drain the unit. Replaced the relief valve and checked for leaks. Fired up the unit. All is good, no more leaks. Customer was very upset with the initial expense incurred. I explained the situation in detail and she reluctantly agreed to the repair. Job completed.
