Met with Jasmine and proceeded to look over the issue with the gas fired furnace. Upon ignition the furnace was producing severe flame rollout. The appearance of the unit tells the story of neglect and no service over the years. The furnace also displayed years of water condensation leakage. There was rust in all the nooks and crannies of the unit. While the unit was running the flame was up against both sides of the cabinet on either side. The gas pressure appeared to be high as well (out of specs). The unit was covered with ash and debris throughout the internals. I took pictures and videos to document the conditions. Based on all the visual overload of information. The only thing that I could recommend is a full replacement of the unit. No repairs should be considered or completed to this unit. I worked up several pricing options for Jasmine’s consideration. We discussed the options and Jasmine applied for Synchrony. Unfortunately she would only qualify for a $5000. Credit limit. J
Arrived at customer house. Assessed the situation and determined the boiler have no power. I explained to the Customer that the Boiler is not getting any energy, Customer showed me where is the panel box, everything was fine in the panel box. I told him that I couldn't diagnostic anything if the unit didn't have power, because is electric problem Customer told me that he was going to call an tech to check the power wire.
Met with Loretta ask if there were any issues and she responded none. She mentioned that…. She recently had a new water heater installed by her neighbor. I began the plumbing inspection process in the guest bathroom, ran the hot / cold water lines to lavatory faucet, inspected the drain assembly for leaks. Both are in good working order. Ran the hot / cold water to the tub & shower control valve, both are in good working order. Tested the trip and waste and they are also in good shape. Proceeded to the kitchen sink, ran both water lines and checked the drain for leaks or any issues. All is good. Third stop was the master bedroom bathroom. Ran the water lines to the lavatory and inspected the drain for leaks. All is good. Removed the lid to the toilets and flushed the units . While observing the flush valve, fill valve and flapper. All are in good working order. Ran the water lines to the tub / shower and tested the trip & drain overflow for proper operation. All is good. Finally insp

Met with Sonu who requested and estimate. Looked over the gas water heater which was installed in 2003. Water heater showed signs of decay and in need of replacement given the age. Worked up three options for the customer and emailed them to her while present. Explained to the customer that we would be supplying contractor grade unit such as a Bock or A.O.Smith. Customer was well informed, regarding brands and pricing. I explained, that we do not supply box stores merchandise.
Uv die was injected into system for leak detection.
Talked to customer said that the unit is blowing hot air and isn’t working well. Talked to him about doing the dye test and he agreed. Charged unit with 1lb of refrigerant and performed the dye leak test. Unit is running well after charging and injecting dye into it.
