Complaints was customer had power surge. Found capacitor failed, but condesor coil is very bad shape. Lack of maintenance coil clogged up with dirt not able to breath and make A/C to hot. Condesor getting to hot can cause capacitor failure.
Unit was going off on high limit, and no flame sensed. Cleaned flame sensor, will need to return with skuttle 20x20 filter. Heating at this time.
Replaced compressor, and liquid line drier. Weighed in factory charge, powered unit, found that contactor was not opening every time after call for compressor was dropped. Replaced contactor, cycled unit again, tested, ok at this time.
Unit was off on high limit switch, found gas pressure over 9in wc, non adjustable valve, but gas coming into furnace is at 29in wc. Customer is contacting gas company to check meter. Once issue is resolved, can return if needed.
Compressor plug had came out, found terminal is blown out of compressor, will need to replace.
Customer said unit had went off on 7 code twice, had been reset, and ran ok after. Fault code was high limit switch, found filter to be dirty and need replaced, replaced filter, system operating properly at this time.
Performed labor warranty check, ok at this time.
Performed maintenance check, cooling check was done in April, will renew next April, and schedule maintenance on new plan. Found blower capacitor failing, replaced, no additional issues at this time.
Service found coil frozen defrosted and checked for any leaks and found none replaced filter and pressure good system operating properly at this time.
Found transformer failed replaced and working properly at this time.
Unit condenser was dirty/blocked. Performed platinum maintenance check, cleaned coil, found capacitor failing. Replaced capacitor, system operating properly at this time.
Contactor failed, replaced, ok at this time.
