Just a note of thanks and appreciation to Grogg’s Heating and Air and to our technician Fred from the Parkersburg area. Amid all of the COVID 19 going’s on, we received a phone call from our local office and was advised the we were due a follow-up service from last year. We scheduled this for today Wed. the 25th and Fred contacted us ahead of the advised time and said that he was in the area and could come by and take care of our service. As I mentioned, this is in the midst of the Corona scare and I had concerns about our safety and his wellbeing also. Fred was VERY understanding and showed a lot of respect for our concerns, he advised me that he would respect our concerns and would do the service call or reschedule if we felt the need to. He made mention to me, as we all have heard that PPE are very scarce and hard to get so I provided some gloves and he proceeded to take care of our service and he kept our distance and the whole call went off very well and we renewed our service agreement with Grogg’s for another year. Hats off and much appreciated thanks to Fred and the Grogg’s team !!
It was never set up right, the duct work was done wrong and they had to redo it. The thermostat wire was cut short so I had trouble with that too, now the duct work is dripping water above the furnace. And every time someone new would be working on it!

Commercial Service Fee Furnace with A/c R-22 system froze up Notice oil leak on condenser coil and used leak detection device Do to ice accumulation unit has to sit till tomorrow to thaw Will need to top off r-22 and get sales man out for bid for ac replacement. Need to finish leak check on in door coil tomorrow.
Replaced damper and did leak search found leak in evaporator coil and unit not under warranty customer gong to call home warranty if they donâ€™t cover it they will call and set bid.
Performed heating/cooling maintenance on two systems. Both system are operating properly at this time. Renewed two system maintenance.
Performed ptu on furnace, furnaces operating properly at this time, no issues found, changed filter. Looked at gas fireplace, unit pilot did light, told customer switch that turns unit on/off will need replaced, fan did not come on, will need to contact appliance service for any further needed repairs.
Platinum membership heating and cooling service system operating properly at this time.
Arrived and found system flashing high limit code. Immediately found very plugged filter. Removed filter and system is operating properly at this time. Homeowner is interested in two system maintenance plan.
Arrived and found system tripping out on limit. Ran combustion analysis and found crack in heat exchanger due to small return duct. Would need to replace heat exchanger in order to get system functioning safely. Due to age, condition and cost of repairs it may be time to think about a more efficient system.
Showed customer how to replace filter as well as the humidifier filter and sold him a replacement humidifier filter signed up for monthly platinum agreement
Could not adjust thermostat, jumped furnace for call for heat, unit began operating. Replaced thermostat, heating at this time.
Performed platinum heating check, both units operating properly at this time, changed filters.
Transformer for humidifier was only putting out 19v, replaced, ok at this time.
Performed platinum maintenance check, replaced blower capacitor on main floor unit, ok at this time.
Preformed heating check. Source of burning smell was grass that had collected near burners(package unit).
Furnace operating when I came out lowered gas pressure and cleaned drain trap system heating properly at this time.
