"I'm at this customer's home in Pickerington to check out his non-working Carrier furnace.
Upon arrival I found the system frozen up, system old and inefficient. I gave the client options and the decided to replacing the full system Thursday.
I installed a Five Star 80% 45,000 BTU Gas Furnace 3T 14". Includes new furnace, thermostat, required venting, required electrical, required gas piping, required duct adjustment, removal of old equipment, tax and installation complete. Cycled and monitored the system. Operating normally at this time.
Upon arrival to complete a diagnostic call on a American Standard air conditioner. I found the system off, and fan on. I cycled cooling and noticed unit dumping water out of condensate drain. Has high humidity, high latent load. Cleaned outdoor coil, system working upon arrival.
I completed a diagnostic call on a Five Star air conditioner. I found that the high voltage in the furnace arched. Customer opted to change out breaker and switch.
I completed a diagnostic call on a Tempstar air conditioner. Upon arrival found unit low on refrigerant. Gave customer options. Customer opted to refill.
I went to replace a part in a Trane air conditioner.
Upon arrival to complete a diagnostic, customer informed me he no longer needed us.
I replaced a OEM condenser fan motor and capacitor for a Bryant air conditioner.
I completed a diagnostic call on a Carrier air conditioner. Customer states system doesn’t seem like it’s running at night. I checked charge pressures and all are good. Checked wiring at board. Cleared drain line with hot water and bleach and all is good. Let system run for 45 minutes all is good. Can’t find anything wrong at this time.
I replaced the OEM Warranty Evaporator Coil and line set on a Comfortmaker air conditioner.
Upon completing a service call on a Carrier air conditioner. I found the second stage taped off, so system has only been running in first stage this whole time. Customer only has 5 wires on a Wi-Fi stat and does not want to lose his wi-fi. Ran thermostat y to y1 on board and will let board control the staging.
