Responded to a call in Levelland for a central AC system that wasn’t cooling consistently. Diagnosed a partially clogged condenser coil and low refrigerant levels. Cleaned the coil, topped off refrigerant, and tested system operation. Airflow and temperature balance are now restored, keeping the home comfortable during warmer days.
Performed a detailed fall tune-up in Levelland. Cleaned condensate drain, tightened electrical connections, and checked blower motor amperage. System tested within spec and is ready to handle cooler nights ahead. Always best to service equipment before heavy use begins.
Diagnosed and repaired failed capacitor on Trane XR13 system. Unit wasn't starting properly and making buzzing noise on startup attempts. Replaced with correct 45/5 MFD dual capacitor and tested operation. Also discovered minor refrigerant leak at Schrader valve - replaced valve core and pressure tested system. Cooling restored to 100% functionality with appropriate temperature differential across coil. Left homeowner with information about our maintenance program to prevent future issues.
Just finished seasonal maintenance on Trane XR16 system. Cleaned condenser coils (they were FILTHY!), checked refrigerant pressure (spot on), and replaced air filter. Inspected electrical connections and tightened several loose terminals on contactor. Cleaned condensate drain line with nitrogen blast - was partially clogged. Unit running at peak efficiency now, just in time for summer heat. Recommended duct cleaning next visit due to visible dust accumulation. Great folks, super friendly dog!
Just wrapped up a full duct cleaning for a family in Levelland! Been in this home 12 years without ever having ducts cleaned - you should've seen what came out! Used our power vacuum system with HEPA filtration to get every last bit of dust. Removed all vent covers and washed them separately (found a child's toy car in one - they were happy to get that back!). The main return trunk had a ton of pet hair buildup - no wonder they were having airflow issues. After cleaning, applied EPA-approved sanitizing treatment throughout the system. Also cleaned their dryer vent which was about 70% blocked with lint - serious fire hazard avoided! Showed them before/after pics and they couldn't believe the difference. Even noticed immediate improvement in house smell. Left them with tips for maintaining better indoor air quality.
