Finalized installation of WaterFurnace 5 Series, 4-ton geothermal system for residential property in Meadow. Project scope included horizontal loop field installation requiring excavation of approximately 2,500 square feet of property at 6-foot depth. System utilizes ethanol-based heat transfer fluid with closed-loop configuration. Removed existing propane furnace and traditional AC system. Modified existing ductwork to accommodate new air handler specifications with particular attention to proper sizing for enhanced efficiency. Out in Meadow today handling a seasonal furnace tune-up. This Bryant system's been running for about 12 years now, but they've kept up with maintenance real well. Checked all electrical connections, tested ignition system, and cleaned flame sensor that was showing signs of carbon buildup. Inspected heat exchanger - thankfully no cracks. Replaced their standard filter with a higher MERV rating one since they mentioned allergies been acting up lately. Calibrated thermostat and verified proper cycling. Burners were firing clean after a good cleaning.
