My wife and I were wakened by a loud crash about 2:30am. At first I thought one of our grandkids had fallen out of bed. I jumped out of bed and ran to their room only to find that the ceiling in the hallway had collapsed. Dripping water was soaking the carpet. I went into the attic to find that the drain pan under the air handler was filled with water. Using a sponge I was able to soak up about 6 gallons of water to stop the dripping. I called Hot 2 Cold and spoke to an operator who make an appointment for later in the morning. John Campbell arrived at about 10:30am. I showed him the hole in the ceiling and explained that Hot 2 Cold technicians had installed the drain pan about 2 month ago. It was apparently mounted so that it drained away from the water sensor so that the AC continued to run even though the drain pan was over flowing. John re-leveled the pan and flushed the drain line so we were good to go. He also arranged with his Service Manager for the ceiling to be repaired since it was Hot 2 Cold's mistake that caused the problem. I was very happy with Johns thoroughness and professionalism, but not happy that the previous technician caused the problem in the first place. There was no charge for the service call.

Customer called us out for a clogged drain line. No update any new equipment. Unclog drain line.
Today we visited because the AC wasn’t working. The inside unit was kicking on but not the outside. Upon arrival the outside unit had a fault code for an open start circuit. The dual capacitor had failed. After replacing the capacitor The system came on and is performing properly.

Brennan G Today I visited for an inspection of crimped copper pipes inside the attic ( a tree branch had fallen through the roof and damaged the copper lines that were suspected to be refrigerant lines). I found that the lines were only for the condensate drain pumps, I tested one the the pumps and it still functions normally. I did not have to quote any repairs. I recommended having a through inspection and maintenance preformed on the ac systems.
Brennan G Today we visited to preform a maintenance on both systems Both systems are clean and all electrical components are within specs Chemical flushed both drains Found the goodman condenser was dirty and covered in grass trimmings. Rinsed outdoor coil. Both systems refrigerant levels are within spec 20* split. Noticed neither of the system have any air purification , besides the uv lamps inside the cabinets. Discussed installing whole home air purifiers to increase indoor air quality.
