I completed a diagnostic. On my arrival I found a completely plugged filter sitting down next to the furnace and the filter inside of the furnace was a brand new filter. Turned everything on and got system running for 10 minutes and checked refrigerant charge which was running at a 9° sub cool/16° superheat. Had a 21° temperature split inside and everything appears to be working fine at this time. I suspect the reason for the system not working previous to today was because the old plug the filter was in the system and the system was likely freezing up. Outdoor coil is dirty but the water Spicket outside does not work properly so customer will hose this off later himself.
I completed a diagnostic. On my arrival I found filter completely plugged, blower is very labored on start up. I checked capacitor and it is weak, this part needs to be replaced, but this wouldn’t be low enough to be causing the noise from the blower. Suspect the blower motor will fail soon. Furnace is in poor overall condition, burners and heat exchanger are rusting severely. Blower wheel is dirty. Spoke with customer about my findings and provided her with a replacement estimate. Wants to hold off on doing anything for now, she recently had a home warranty that lapsed and she is going to try to get this reinstated so when the motor does fail it will be covered.
I completed a job continuation and measured for a volume damper.
I provided an estimate for a Carrier 3 ton electric furnace and a Carrier 14 SEER 3 ton heat pump. Along with the estimate is a free 1 year scheduled maintenance program.
I completed a diagnostic. Here for a 22 year old AC and a 42 year old furnace. Customers complaint is that the system does not seem to be keeping up. I checked all readings, everything seems normal. Explained to customer that due to the age of the system its having a hard time keeping up on really hot days. Recommended replacing the system.

I completed a diagnostic .On my arrival found compressor not starting on outdoor unit due to a weak capacitor. Replaced capacitor and cycled system. Checked refrigerant charge and found it running at a 21° superheat which is correct for current conditions. System is running on my departure.
I completed a real estate inspection on a Lennox furnace and a Goodman AC. I visually inspected the unit. Checked both systems out and they are operating well. The only issues I found at this time are the blower capacitor on furnace being weak, as well as the compressor side of the dual capacitor on outdoor unit. Connectors on the outdoor capacitor also are corroded and close to breaking, those should also be replaced.
I completed an estimate for a Carrier 80% gas furnace. Included in the estimate is a 1 year free service maintenance agreement.

I completed a diagnostic and found the compressor not running and the capacitor was bad. I replaced the capacitor and washed the condenser coil. System cooling upon my departure.
