Replace heat pump system 20+20 5†merv filter cabinet in garage Replace 8 supplies 1 return new high flow grills in attic
Upon arrival customer had leaking water heater and a lot of visible rust to indicate tank failure. Customer had house repiped but no service was done to water heater. Due to condition of tank and age do not not advise attempting to repair due to may not resolve issue. If customer goes with repair instead of replacing no warranty will be given or refund after work has been done. Gave customer estimate to replace entire tank.
Check system operation for noise issue. All panel and door were tightening and secured. No noise occur during inspection. Advised homeowner to record noises if possible if it reoccur again. System is operational.
During home inspection found water heater to be past life expectancy. Gave customer hybrid water heater details and customer decided to go with it. Setting up appointment for Friday February the 19th. Completed full home inspection and recommended toilet rebuilds due to hard water, age and to maximize efficiency.
New garage disposal replaced disposal and inspected tankless water heater. Tested drain, tested good.
Gave estimate on mini split and maestro pro system for studio behind house. Found stress points on heat exchanger and oil steaks on evaporator coil on package system for house.
Performed UV leak search on 12 year old amana ground package heat pump unit. Found dye at evaporator coil and inside of primary pan. Quoted for coil replacement with refrigerant recovery and adding extra refrigerant. Homeowner approved repair. Ordered coil thru Goodman. Will arrive in 3-5 business days at our downtown shop. Office will call to schedule once it arrives. System is still operational heating at this time
Customer request heating inspection service performed heating inspection service on gas operated split system removed inspected and cleaned flame sensor adjusted gas pressure to 3.5 inches of water column verified system is operating properly with a 49° heat rise.
Upon arrival recirculating pump was leaking from solder joint. Cut copper and removed pump to add support bracket for more support. Reinstalled pump with pro press couplings. Tested by running pump. Test well no evident leaks.
Performed heating and cooling tuneup for Lennox heat pump system. Checked all safeties and connections. Changed Merv 13 filter. Flushed out drain lines. Washed outdoor unit. System is operational at this time.
Remove and properly dispose of existing split heat pump system. Provide and install one 2 ton Coleman variable capacity heat pump split system. Remove MERV cabinet from job. Install surge protectors on both outdoor and indoor systems. Installation includes equipment, materials, labor, permit, required testing,rebate process, and taxes. Qualifies for a $750 SMUD rebate.
Quoted new construction project off of the blueprints and emailed to the contractor.
Went over insulation and system estimates. Also left quote for repairs for 21 year old system.
