Shun came over on Christmas Eve around 4pm because my parents heat stopped working the night before. It on such late notice but shun got there found the problem immediately and was able to get it running in a matter of minutes. Explained to me exactly what the issue was and the steps he took to fix it. Very helpful and very much appreciated

Larry is a great representative of the company. His communication skills are impeccable. Arriving on-time, he greeted me with a BIG genuine smile and a happy “Hello! I’m Larry with Huft. How has your day been so far Ma’am!?!” Throughout the appointment, he was very knowledgeable, respectful, helpful & honest. Adjusted fan speed to high for cool cycle. And adjusted heat cycle to higher speed as well. Met with duct testers and CFM now at 620CFM.
Performed sidekick maintenance on 1 year old Goodman gas/electric split system located in closet/ground. Temp split and gas pressure are within specs. Cleaned all furnace components. Checked all electrical components and tightened all electrical connections. Everything on heating side is within specs. Switched to AC Checked refrigerant levels and temp split. Both within specs. Checked all electrical components and tightened all electrical connections. Compressor start amps over maximum allowed at 86.9 out of max 72.2. Everything else is within specs. Recommend adding a hard start kit and joining club membership to help keep the system running as efficiently as possible for as long as possible. System is operational and heating at this time
Return line has issues where duct is either crushed or damaged somehow. With return bypassed and door open at unit, was getting 151cfm out of supply register upstairs. Need Matthew to coordinate with General Contractor Spence Barker 209-430-4400, please let Spence know this job is for Mr. Willis, he does a lot of work for him. Need to coordinate for roof to be removed and then access situation with return duct.
Removed old toilet. Installed new with upgrades. Tested by flushing test well.
Replaced Tstat which was bad from box. Ran and tested operations. Installers to finish flashing.
Unit is set and sealed on roof. Need to complete skirt around stand and seal to roof. System is functional, though the downstairs zone isn’t calling to the unit and the customer’s gas is out so we cannot run the heat. I told him I’d try to get back on Wednesday to complete the roofing but that I’d also look to have a tech come out to check the zoning. One zone damper is totally unaccessable and that appears to be the one not working. Need to finish paperwork and collect.

Install new electrical disconnect box, new electrical whip and install appropriately sized fuses and electrical breaker if needed. Install and replace new gas safety Shut off, gas flex line and gas sediment trap to meet code. Would cover crane fees. New Honeywell T6 Thermostats installed for both zones. Replace existing zone control board and fabricate weatherized box. Would leave existing zone damper motors and assemblies. Pull and pay for permit and fees. Title 24 HERS testing fees included. Complete clean up and walk through with journeyman installer. Would seal any air leakage at plenum on roof, would not cover any extra costs for roof sealing around system or around existing stand. Gave upgraded 2 year Superhero Club program for new system we are installing Client Purchased 2 years Prepaid Guardian Club Program for second system on

Warranty on faulty new cartridge. Replaced cartridge and tested by turning water on. No evident leaks test well. If issues continues to occur, recommend changing entire faucet.

Checked a Goodman system found the spark igniter sparking against the unit Not in front of the burners
System non op on arrival. Found system in off position with compressor trying to kick on without contactor energized or call for heat or cook. Found compressor to be internally shorted out. Informed client system using outdated refrigerant and would be extremely hard to find direct replacement compressor for this unit. Client states he heard different noise which potentially is the blower motor bearings failing. Heat exchanger in extremely poor condition. System left non op at this time. Will contact client with system replacement estimates Monday at noon.
Replaced pressure transducer. Cycled heat. System is operational at this time.
Upon arrival system was blowing cold air and not heating home properly. Found pressure inducer is not working properly and needs to be replaced. Ordered new pressure inducer from supplier. Need to reschedule for return visit ASAP and install replacement part.
