I contacted Huft and explained what I had and service I was looking for. I was informed there would be a service charge that if I chose to accept the estimate it would be applied to the bill. I asked for an estimate over the phone and they said it would. It be able too and would have to come and visually inspect. Technician showed up and said he could not perform the work as he was a technician and not an installer. Chuck then contacted an installer by telephone and he stated he could come and complete work. Chuck then informed the price would be 900.00. I asked why so much and how long would it take. Chuck informed me it would take 2 hours. I said based o. The price you are charging me like 450 dollars an hour as there was no material cost except for a possible small amount of referigent. Chuck then gave me an estimate for just evacuation of the system and checking the Freon level which was for 421.00 dollars. Again confirmed this would take an hour of time. I cannot believe the amount your company wants to charge for service work. Over 400.00 dollars an hour is ridiculous!!!! If I would have been told this on the telephone I would not have agreed to have your company come out to pay a over 70 dollar service call fee to revive a ridiculous estimate. So now I am out the service fee and received no work. Granted I was told that fee would or could be applied to the work if I had you complete the work. Well that is as a joke when I was told it would cost 900 for 2 hours of work. So in essence I paid over 70 dollars for nothing. Totally upset and unhappy and will not call your company again nor will I have any positive things to pass onto friends and relatives about your company.

Jet was such a great representative for Huff Heating & Air. Notified us on his way to our home along with picture & ID card. He explained what it would take to have our unit run more efficiently. Completed the tuneup and so appreciated Jet replacing our 2 filters, since my husband and I are senior citizens. We still have filters from the box we purchased last year from Huft. Thank you Jet!

Heat tuneup completed on both system. Checked heat operations, all components, and safeties. Found weak blower capacitor on both furnaces. Signed up for super hero club. Has one a/c tuneup left on both units.
26 yr old Trane heat pump closet/ground. R-22. Checked and cleaned all components. Washed filters. Tightened wiring connections. Contactor is burnt and pitted. Outdoor fan motor is leaking excessive oil. System is operational at this time. Recommend looking into system replacement options due to age/reliability, operating condition/cost of repairs, efficiency and r22 phaseout. Renew club membership for routine maintenance and savings.
Returned to completed all repairs. Replaced blower motor and installed 2 surge protectors on both a/c units. Interface module was ok. Had to enable it at zone board. Cycled system in heat mode. System operations ok at this time.
Replaced toilet fill valve, to return late and replace shower cartridge, tub cartridge and unclog lav sinks
Install new Quiet Cool Trident Pro 2.5 Whole house fan.
Provide and install all new R8 Ducting and new Rheem gas/electric split system. Installation includes equipment, thermostat, refrigerant lines, all ducting materials, labor, condensate lines, third party HERS verification, and taxes.
Preformed furnace tuneup on a Coleman system no issues or concerns at this time system is operational
Performed sidekick visit. Completed heating and AC inspection and tune up on Trane heat pump package unit. System is operating properly at this time. Customer has one visit left.
Upon arrival customer had blockage in kitchen line. Wasn’t able to fit cable in exterior clean out or through under kitchen sink. Went under house and cut cast iron pipe to run cable through there. Cable and hydro jetted. Repair with 2 1 1/2 inch bands. No warranty due to age of pipe. Blockage cleared.
Found bad transformer and Honeywell zone board. also found bad transformer, inductor coil and control board on Goodman furnace.
Remove and properly dispose of old equipment and refrigerant. Install New Lennox 4 Ton Heat Pump Package Unit located on the ground. Install new Honeywell 8000 Pro Tstat. Replace and install new electrical disconnect boxes for system, new electrical whips, replace breaker and fuses as needed. Reattach system to existing duct work. Seal all air gaps at system. Replace Return Air Filter Grills with high velocity Filter Grills to allow more air flow back to system. Complete clean up and walk through with journeyman installer. Permit and fees are included. Title 24 HERS testing included and paid for. Paid in full upon completion by check Installation date 1/6/21
Replace disconnect fuse with correct fuse
Performed warranty repair on TXV replacement Recovered 5.8lbs of R410a refrigerant from system Removed old failed TXV Brazed in new TXV Pressurized system to 288 psi of nitrogen, held for 15 minutes. Released charge of nitrogen and put system in a vacuum. Pulled to 462 microns Added 5.8lbs of R410a. Cycled system and it cycled properly, now heating correctly. R410a pressure Low side pressure 115.5 psi (38.8 degrees) High side pressure 347.1 psi (106.1 degrees) Call Complete, HVAC operational
