Replaced flame sensor and tested 5x while adjusting gas manifold for noise. Heater working properly and noise level reduced. Paid by check.
Found flame sensor is terribly deteriorated. Ordered new flame sensor from Howard. Should be arriving at shop tomorrow.
Performed a heating maintenance on a 2022 American standard heat pump located in attic access. Checked sequence of operations while system was in heating mode. Checked and cleaned electrical components system was reaching temps of 100 degrees and rising. Client was getting a lot more air in one room compared to the rest of the house. Upon examining found room is the closet run from system and that’s why it’s getting lots more air. There was already a damper installed on ductwork closed the damper more. Client is satisfied with new air flowing through out house. At this time all is within manufacture specifications and system is heating properly. Finished maintenance by changing out filter and blowing out condensation lines.
