NO AC - TRANE - Upon arrival found system off, client mentioned that system was turned off due to condenser not running on call for AC. Checked thermostat, noticed outdated thermostat on controlling air conditioning system, set tstat to cooling and dropped temperature. Checked air handler in attic. Noticed ducts aren’t insulated. Checked delta T, checked filter and replaced. Checked condensing unit refrigerant pressures ok, Pressures in system is ok at this time, checked delta T receiving good temperature split. Informed client on return visit highly recommended replacing his old model Honeywell Thermostat. Follow Up Action: Office to contact client regarding Thermostat Replacement. Client currently has AC at this time. Reviewed work completed, emailed work summary, collected payment.
Performed maintenance on one AC system located in the basement checked electrical and mechanical components and electrical connections and flushed condensate drain and condensate pump checked evaporator and condenser coils and refrigerant pressures recommend to replace the capacitors for the air handler and the condenser which are compromised and not within manufacture specifications To replace the capacitors for the air handler and the condenser which are not within manufacture specifications
Completed maintenance on two AC systems checked electrical and mechanical components and electrical connections and purged condensate drain lines and condensate pumps also checked evaporator and condenser coils and replaced filters the capacitor for the first floor system is leaking oil and highly recommend to replace To replace the capacitor for the first floor blower motor turned systems on and checked operations and refrigerant pressures left systems working
