Duct cleaning inspection for home with six supplies and one return. Customers main issue is that in the recent increase in heat at the beginning of summer, the air coming out of the ductwork has been much warmer than normal. After inspecting system and air ducts, I determined that air ducts are dirty and can use a cleaning, the ducts are also intact and can be cleaned. I also noticed the compression fitting at the metering device was loose 3/4 of a turn and may have leaked out refrigerant, but need to perform a full ac tune up to ensure nothing else was missing. Customer had not had system tuned up since it was installed in 2014. With customer approval, will do an ac tune up and duct cleaning today. Removed vents, grill and old filter. Washed grill cover. Cleaned vents with dry spinning brush and microfiber cloth. Duct cleaned supplies with 2 to 4 passes and return with 4 passes.
