I arrived for a no cool call afterwards a repair call. I spoke with the homeowner and found that we replace a capacitor and gave a green light on how the system was running after we did our first repair. The system stop cooling after this. When we came back we found the system to be out of refrigerant and the shader cores have been replaced at that time. I discussed with the homeowner and they feel like the leak/low refrigerant should have been caught and they should not have been given a all clear after we did our first repair. I understood how the homeowner may feel and we further discussed what we needed to do to correct the issue. I explained that the original shaders could have been what was leaking. I could not confirm this because I was not the technician that found them leaking nor do we have documentation on what was or was not leaking.
