Ray F 7/28/22. Arrived to a previous customer no cool service call and the customer met me at the front door. I introduced myself and asked what ac issues he was having. He stated the ac is blowing warm air. I soected the condenser and found the coco lessor trying to come on, and the fan is not running. Found the 45/5 run capacitor reading 0/0. With customer approval, I replaced the run capacitor and the compressor did not start. Compressor is overheated. Cooled it off with a water hose and cleaned condenser coils. Spoke with customer about possible replacement of system as it is 23 yrs old. Able to cool compressor and it came on after about 10 minutes. Condenser fan motor amps ok. Contactor, wiring and disconnect in good condition. Refrigerant levels are normal. System cooling at this time. Recommend routine preventative maintenance. Thank you for your business.
