20OCT2022 Jason B Arrived for fall tune up. Spoke with Wayne about the systems performance. We haven’t ran the heat yet, but it’s been cooling great since you were last out. Cycled system at thermostat. Inspected coil, blower cabinet, motor, heat strips, sequencer, duct work and insulation. Cycled system in all stages. Inspected contactor, capacitor, fan, and compressor at heat pump. Tested defrost timer and reversing valve. Found dual run cap reading 50/80 and 5/5, ductwork could be replaced, but is still functional, and insulation in attic could be deeper. Spoke with Wayne about my findings, we decided to go ahead and replace the contactor today. Shut off power to the HP. Pulled existing capacitor. Install new cap. Cycle system. Verify amps, and capacitance. System is running properly at this time.
