Preformed fall service on variable speed heat pump checked amps on motors and elements they where good capacitor on compressor 28.8 of 30 customer informed me they have replace warranty capacitor a couple time the system is 6 years old. Tested operation of heat pump and took the top of and washed the coil the indoor coil was clean I asked customer if there where Rooms that were too hot or too cold or didn’t get enough air in the customer said yes and then explain to him how static pressure works and expressed how the ductwork was incorrectly installed and why there was lacking air in places also found kinked of ducks and 4 splices with no support a.k.a. a ghost splice I found a 8 inch duct with a ghost splice into a 12 inch duct I recommend having all ductwork cut loose dampeners installed all ghost seams undone and correct splices put in turn the 8 inch duct into a 12 inch duct and re-run it seal up the Plenum where it goes to stop attic air from being sucked into the system to reat
