Inspect rental property that we did a duct cleaning in Dec 2020. The tenant is having some light dust coming through ducts again. They have been using an air scrubber and air quality monitor to reduce the particulate in the air. Inspected system, and went in attic. The insulation is pink fiberglass on bottom and white cellulose on top. It looks like a small animal, possibly a pack rat or a mouse tried to get into the duct work at one point by the kitchen duct. This agitation over the white cellulose can create a lot of dust that can be pulled into the air ducts when the system turns on. I walked the outside of home and garage and found several points large enough the let a mouse in. Specifically at the entry by the guttering downspout and at the northeast corner by the guttering downspout. Bottom east corner of garage has a small gap as well. Inspected inside ducts and they are still clean, even running my finger across them did not produce much dust. As an added courtesy, with homeown
