I arrived for a silver member no cool call. I spoke with the homeowner and found that the system is only two years old. I inspected the indoor system and found the filter to be clean and the drain line to be clear. I then inspected the condenser and found it to be dirty with cotton wood. I also found the capacitor to have failed. I replaced the capacitor and checked the systems operation and found it to be running properly. It may take up to 24 hours for the system to catch up with the temperature demand on the thermostat.
