Jake Kring. 02-13-25. I arrived for a silver member fall tune up. I inspected the system and found the 16 year old furnace to have rust spots in the heat exchanger and one long crack in the 2nd cell from the left. The fracture is towards the back of the cell and I showed the homeowner this with the camera. I explained that I, not reading any CO at this time but the system could put out CO at anytime and that it’s a health hazard. The homeowner said he has CO detectors and he did not want to replace the system at this time but wanted to keep it running. I explained the decline heat exchanger form and he signed the form. I reassembled the system at I found it and checked all electrical components and temperature rise and found the system to run and cycle off per the demand of the thermostat
