Duct cleaning estimate for home with ceiling supplies and floor returns to a return cavity. System was put in in 2016. Inspected ductwork in attic and found it composed of black mylar duct work that is in a slight state of deterioration. The top of the ductwork is a little bit more brittle than the bottom due to years of sitting in attic heat. The supply Plenum is also cut a little short, which makes it unable to provide good static pressure to the ductwork leading to the other Ducts. Inspected blower wheel and evaporator coil and both are dirty and could use a cleaning. Went over findings with customer, and with current ductwork told customer that there’s a 75% chance that our cleaning equipment could actually tear up the ductwork due to the brutal nature. Also talked about increasing supply Plenum size and cleaning the blower and evaporator coil. Left estimates for both of these items.
