Sam J - arrive to service a heat pump for a blue club member. Customer met me in the garage and showed me to the equipment. Customer turned the system, and from the thermosta then I began service. Cleaned the condenser coil with water and checked components in the condensing unit. Moved into the attic and check the blower motor amperage, as well as the cleanliness of the evaporator coil. Tape the insulation back onto the blower cabin door. Move back to the outdoor unit and powered up system while recording the amperage of the compressor and fan motor. And then allow the system to run for several minutes to dry the coil, then calculated superheat and sub cooling values. Replace air filters for the customer then set thermostat back to original setpoint. Advised customer on today’s visit. System is operating properly and efficiently at this time.
