Performed preventative maintenance on furnace. Discussed with customer about maintenance needed and how things were going. I changed out customer supplied filters in home. I inspected the ductwork, blower assembly, motor, capacitor, electrical components, heat exchanger, evaporator coil and overall condition of equipment in attic. Bearings seem to be still good on the inducer motor. Heat exchanger does have some significant hot spots, but nothing concerning at this time. Cleaned flame sensor and dust off the burner compartment. Checked thermostat operation, wiring, amps, temperatures and gas pressure of furnace. Dialed gas pressure down a little bit to recommended 3.5 IWC. System is operating properly within manufacturing specs at this time.
