Came out to perform preventative maintenance on AC system. Discussed with customer about maintenance being provided, filters, and any issues he was having. Customer needed me to change the filters for him, but other than that, no issues. Changed out filters for customer. Inspected the blower assembly, motor, electrical components, evaporator coil, drain and overall condition of equipment in attic. Washed condenser coil thoroughly. Inspected the compressor, fan motor, capacitor, contactor, hard start kit and electrical wiring. Cycled ac on and checked amps, temperatures and pressures of the system. Found the condenser fan motor running above recommended amp range. Recommended customer have it replaced before it has a possibility of failing this summer. Customer approved the replacement of the fan motor. Replaced the condenser fan motor and installed a new capacitor as well. Cycled ac back on and checked amps and operation of system with new motor. System is cooling properly at this time
