Came out for a second opinion of hooking up lines to a mini split system and starting it up. Customer had done most of the installation himself, but needed someone to hook up the lines to the condenser, pull vacuum and start up system for him. All the electrical and drains were already done. Customer already had another company quote him, but wanted a second opinion. Gave customer estimate and discussed a fair price for the work needed. Customer had me do the work while I’m here. Connected pre-ran refrigerant lines to the condenser unit. Then nitrogen tested lineset to check for leaks, and pulled vacuum. Started unit up to make sure system was operational. Unit is cooling properly. Seeing we did not install the systems ourselves, there is no warranty on the unit itself through Interstate.
