I arrived for a blue member fall maintenance. I first spoke with the homeowner and found that they have had a control board recently replaced on the upstairs system due to a lighting strike. I inspected both systems and found the downstairs system to have a surge protector installed but the upstairs system did not. I made the homeowner aware of the difference between the two systems and how that could have prevented a breakdown on the upstairs system. We decided to install a surge protector on the upstairs system at this time. I checked all electrical components and found no issues with any components or the whole house air purification system on both systems. I replaced all filters and we are to order a new set of filters for the following year. We also renewed all three maintenance plans to continue to replace the filters every quarter of the year and maintenance both systems every second and fourth quarter of the year. Overall both systems are running to the best of there abilities
