Arrived at the home to provide a blue shield club maintenance. Was greeted at the door by the customer and I was shown where the Air Handler and Heat Pump were located. The customer has been running the heater and it seemed to be working properly. Air Handler- while checking the air handler I looked at blower motor for proper operation, amps, and voltage. Checked all safeties, checked both heating elements for proper amps and operation, checked all electrical connections, evaporator coil for cleanliness. Air Handler is working properly at this time. Heat Pump- checked all aspects of the heat pump. Checked electrical connections, capacitor 45/5, condenser fan motor amps, compressor amps, reversing valve, defrost board, and ensured back up heat was on during the defrost cycle, also checked condenser coil for cleanliness. Overall system is running great with no repairs needed at this time.
