08JUN2024 Jason Brown Arrived for follow up on recent no cool. Isaac was out yesterday but the coil was too frozen to continue the repair. He advised homeowner to run the fan for a couple hours then it should be good. When I arrived the system was on in cooling and the evap coil was frozen. Thawed evap and and cycled cooling. Once thawed I setup my gauges and cycled cooling. Suction pressure drops to 80 psi head stays around 275. I cycled the system off and used my electronic leak detector as soon as I walked in the door it went off, and I got several hits in the furnace closet. Spoke with Homeowner about my findings. We decided to hold off on repairs until this can be discussed with the spouse. I set the disconnect In the off position to prevent any more damage to the compressor.
