24JUN2024 Jason a brown Arrived for recent install no cool. Spoke with Vee about the systems performance. It went out last night and it got very hot in here, I couldn’t even sleep. Inspected furnace coil and condensation pump. All clean and working properly. Noticed the suction line was warm while I was checking things over. Called office to get an 40ft ladder to access the AC. Once the ladder Arrived I inspected the AC. Found the fan running with no compressor, and the compressor hot to the touch. Cooled compressor and washed condenser coils while I was at it. Reassembled AC and cycled cooling. Compressor doesn’t start. Installed an 1-3 hardstart kit and cycled cooling. Checked amps and pressures all good. System is operating normally at this time. Will contact Carrier tomorrow morning about the system. Mrs Vee thanks for your patience, please give me a call if there’s anything else I can do. Signed up a free maintenance contract.
