Performed preventative maintenance on AC system for customer. Changed air ranger filter in cabinet for system. Inspected blower assembly, motor, electrical components, evaporator coil, drains, ductwork, and zone system. Cleaned condenser coil thoroughly. Inspected fan motor, compressor, capacitor, contactor, and hard start kit. The hard start kit on system was starting to fall apart. Made homeowner aware of what I found and recommended replacing it to help keep the compressor going. Customer approved replacement. I replaced the hard start kit with a new one. Checked thermostat operation, wiring, amps, temperatures and pressures of condenser. System is cooling properly within manufactured specifications at this time. Customer asked me to adjust a vent that was in the main entrance. I flipped the grill 180 degrees to move air a different direction.
