03DEC2022 Jason B Arrived for recent repair no heat. Spoke with homeowner and tenant about the issue. We were out about 3 weeks ago and repaired the air handler, now it’s not working. It was 71 degrees when tenants went to bed it hasn’t worked all morning. Inspected air handler. Wiggled float switch system immediately kicked on. Traced float switch wires and found a poor connection at the wire nut. trimmed wire back and reconnected wire nut. Cycled system in all stages of heating. Verified amps at heat strips. Checked temp rise. Went through all electrical connections. Amps and electrical connections at the heat pump. Ran equipment for about 20 min 107 degrees at registers. System is heating normally. Waiving service fee as I am unable to determine if this was our fault.
