Came out to call for a system not keeping up during the heat of the day. Customer has it set to 70 but it was 78 in the home. System was installed last year. I checked the unit over and found a dirty filter, blower speed set too low, and the condenser coil needing to be cleaned. Discussed with landlord about what I found and also recommended. Customer had me clean the condenser coil and do a check on the rest of the systems operation. I took out the filter, changed the blower speed, then washed the condenser coil thoroughly. Rechecked system operation and temperature dropped from 78 to 76 before I was finished. System will need to the rest of the day to cool back down due to it having to battle the heat of the day. Attic is also not very well ventilated which can attribute to heat transfer through the flex duct in peak hours. Recommended customer add wind turbines to the home. System is cooling properly.
