Ray F 8/11/22. Arrived to a precious customer no cool service call and the tenant met me at the front door. I introduced myself and asked what ac issues she was having. She stated that it was 92 degrees in the home yesterday. The ac has been cooling since this morning, but made loud noises earlier. We inspected the condenser and found the fan motor drawing .65 amps. It is rated to draw .50 amps. The condenser coils are very dirty. Capacitor is within manufacturer specifications. Refrigerant levels are normal. Compressor amps are ok at 10.4. Turned the system off and cleaned the condenser coils. Replaced tenant supplied 20x20x1 air filter. Turned the system back on and the condenser fan motor would not start. Able to spin it by hand to give it a boost and it started. Motor is 1/12 hp and not a van stocked part. Ordered new motor from Carrier. They stated it would be Tuesday when it should arrive. Attempted to contact homeowner by phone. Left voicemail. Did not collect
