Sam J - arrive to do a summer service on a Trane split system for a blue club member. Customer met me at the door and showed me to each piece of equipment. She explained that the bedroom on the front of the house was always warm and does not get good airflow. The system is already running when I arrive so I went straight into the attic to determine the duct issues. In the attic, I found that the bedroom had a Y that was creating unnecessary links, as well as sharp turns. I had an estimate to add a new line in that bedroom going straight from the plenum to the boot. This would also increase airflow to the bathroom and the dining area. Began servicing equipment by cleaning the condenser coil and checking the capacitor. And then moved indoors and check the capacitor for the blower motor as well as the amperage. Powered up condenser while recording amperage of compressor and outdoor fan motor. I then attached my gauges and temperature probes so that I can calculate the superheat an
