Performed preventative AC maintenance on 2 heat pump systems. Inspected filters, blower assemblies, motors, electrical components, evaporator coils and overall condition of equipment indoors. Washed condenser coils thoroughly. Inspected capacitors, contactors, fan motors, and compressors. During operation checks, I found the upstairs unit compressor not kicking on. It would buzz then shut off. Tried a hard start kit and it still wouldn’t turn over. Compressor is locked up. It will not kick on, no matter what I tried. Let customer know that I would get back to her on pricing and what we can do for her as far as possible repair costs go.
