14NOV2022 Jason B Arrived for fall tune up. Spoke with Homeowner about the systems performance. It’s working well. Cycled system into heating at the thermostat. Homeowner requested I move the car to inspect the furnace. Moved car to driveway. Inspected coil, blower cabinet, motor, capacitor, heat exchanger, HSI, pressure switch, and all components at the furnace. Verified float switches and all safeties work. 0ppm CO detected. No cracks found in heat exchanger. I did find the Surge protection out at furnace. Spoke with homeowner about my findings. We decided to replace the surge protector. Remove existing surge protector. Install new surge protector. Trim wires back to maximize efficiency. Verify proper amps. Cycle system into heating. System is running properly at this time. Changed customer provided filters. Re parked car.
