05MAY2023 Jason Brown Arrived for new customer .no cool. Spoke with Chad about the systems performance. We had our water heater burst and damaged a board. I’ve jumped it to run heat for the fall but am ready to get this fixed. This is a rental however I am paying for all repairs. Inspected equipment. Found the board is an aux board for 08 model carrier communicating stat. Found coil dirty, blower dirty, and heat pump dirty. All caps and amps good. Spoke with homeowner about my findings. We decided to get the equipment cleaned up and instead of going back with a communicating stat we will go with a T6. Washed condenser coils, installed new T6 thermostat. Rewired equipment for non communicating. Cycled equipment in cooling checked pressures and amps. All good. Ran out of cleaner due to the amount of dirt.
