The service person was efficient and knew exactly what was needed to put my system in good working order. There were several issues with my system both hardware and software in nature. He address with a knowledge and efficiency that made confident in signing a service contract with Jackfrost. In to words "very Impressed".
We had some problems with our heat pump back in December, when it was 5-10 degrees for about 8 days straight. Originally it was going to take a $900 part to fix the unit. Keith, the service tech came out to put the part on, and instead, was able to work around and get us heat by changing out a coil, a much less expensive fix! No heating and air company has ever gone the extra mile to save us money like that. He also informed us we had a defrost board going bad, but we could make do for a while with that. Yesterday we got up to 75 degree temps, a warm house and whatta you know, the cool air wouldn’t kick on. Our board bit the dust and we had no a/c. I contacted Delores at the office and Keith was already at our house today, with a new board! The one it needed cost $800 but he got us a universal board, hundreds cheaper and ended up rewiring our whole Trane system to make the board compatible...plus put us in a new thermostat. We had cold air in an hour! I’ve also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Don and the office manager Delores. These are some top notch folks who care about your heating and air needs, and not just trying to rip you off. Overall, our experience was fantastic and a real blessing! If you have a problem like we did, absolutely call Jack Frost. You won’t be disappointed! 🙂
