Found that the installers had run #10 wire from disconnect to unit which isn’t large enough to handle to amp for a 10kw heater. So looks as if instead of correcting they just disconnected the Em heat low voltage wire to keep em heat from coming on. Retired with #6 wire and wired up low voltage so Em heat is working properly on Nordyne System in Sevierville.
