When it’s time to call the expert in, call Donald

I had a new Gas Pack/ HVAC installed and the installation team discovered that a part was not performing properly so they contacted their home office to arrange for Donnie, a highly trained and skilled tech to modify and install a temporary part that night so we would have heat until the replacement part arrived and then to have Donnie install the replacement part and carry out systems checks to ensure that the unit was working at peak performance. Donnie is very knowledgeable, well trained and professional. He explained why the original part was malfunctioning and why it had to be replaced. Donnie is an excellent representative for Jackson and Sons.

Excellent service when it counts.

Wayne was very professional, knowledgeable, well- trained and friendly. Wayne and a coworker arrived early in the morning on the scheduled installation date. He and the coworker removed my old unit and had my new gas pack/ HVAC installed by mid afternoon. There was a burner part that wasn’t functioning properly so he and the coworker stayed and worked until late afternoon to determine why it wasn’t functioning properly. When the determined the part that needed replacing they contacted their home office and made arrangement to get a temporary part installed that night and the replacement part shipped and installed two days later. Wayne has an excellent work ethic, is a superior service provider, has a “can- do” positive attitude and is an asset to the company.

Tech performed ESA on air handler in attic, coil is leaking and has been for a while, decent amount of oily residue in pan, tech recorded videos of leak detector on high and low sensitivity. Yellow wire on condenser not receiving voltage, tech did not notice any damage to yellow wire. Tech pushed in contactor and system powered on, amp readings were fine. Compressor megohmed yellow at 150, Caleb was out here last April for previous techs findings. Tech informed homeowner of all findings. Secondary drain line flows into primary drain line, no float switches are installed on system. Thermostat is out dated. Drain line is not properly insulated. Tech mentioned different upgrades that could be installed and that supervisor will go over all information with him. Tech did not call dispatch until latter end of service to verify both compressor and coil were faulty/failing from previous techs diagnosis. Fan left on upon departure. Unable to co

Performed routine maintenance per energy savings agreement. Tech did not find any challenges while performing maintenance today. System is cooling properly and holding a delta t of 18 degrees. One recommendation the tech had was to install an EZ trap and Primary drain safety switch. These will reduce the chance of condensate challenges going forward. Technician attempted to call customer, had to leave a voicemail. Recommendations and renewal added to estimate.
