Service disconnect prongs were not tight, which caused L2 to loose connection. Tech tightened the prongs and tested the voltage afterwards. Thermostat is back on. Install warranty.
Tech found supply duct fallen, duct is ran through wall and has no access to bottom side, tech pulled duct into vent and taped secure as best to ability. No further challenges at this time
Tech washed and serviced unit and found blower motor to package unit over amping and compressor still megaohming in the yellow tech found no further challenges At this tune. Tech extended PSA 1 sys.

{2001 Goodman Gas Pack - Downstairs} — Customer reported that the touchscreen thermostat display was active but would not respond to commands; tech replaced batteries and observed the same condition. Customer approved installing a Focus Pro 5000 thermostat, with backplate upon request. — Tech installed batteries with no common wire available. — Upon first ignition in heat mode, equipment ran for approximately 10 minutes before opening the high limit switch. Tech found panel insulation in the blower compartment obstructing airflow and removed. Observed normal operation, confirmed amp draws and blower capacitor reading. Inspected heat exchanger, noting no concerns. — Advised customer of equipment age and condition, recommending a system replacement if a major repair is needed. — Customer invested in a premium service agreement for the downstairs system, paid monthly. System is operating normally at this time. Tech recommends scheduling first service visit in the following weeks.
{Dryer Vent Cleaning} — Tech cleaned approximately 12’ full length of dryer vent, vent cap, and flex with brush. Flushed with nitrogen and resealed vent cap. — Advised customer not to operate the dryer for at least four hours to allow sealant to solidify. — Customer is not interested in a service agreement under the premise of selling the home soon. Systems operating normally at this time.
Tech inspected heat exchanger and heat side of system and found no challenges other than system being dirty tech recommended service agreement customer was not interested in at this time.
Tech found head pressure extremely high. Tech found installation manual shredded and imbedded in blower wheel. Bypass damper is set very low. Main downstairs zone damper is stuck closed. Tech removed shredded manual from blower wheel. Turned up static pressure bypass damper and removed failed zone damper motor so downstairs zone is forced open. Customer will talk to the builder about damper. Customer declined maintenance.
Tech confirmed could not get 24 volts to outdoor unit to power defrost board, reversing valve, and contactor. Tried several combinations of spare thermostat conductors without success. Tech left power off to indoor and outdoor units. Per Sebastian, we will return tomorrow to pull thermostat wire. Install warranty.

Thermostat was recommended for replacement. Provided updated estimate for programmable and non programmable thermostat. System non operational until thermostat is replaced. — RTU-3 2016 Carrier Gas Package System: Middle Front: No challenges or recommendations. — RTU-4 2016 Carrier Gas Package System: Far Front: Both sides of dual outdoor fan capacitor tested at or below tolerance. Recommend replacing with 2 10 mfd capacitors. Operating outdoor fan motors with weak capacitors will have a negative impact on the efficiency and lifespan of the motors. Providing estimate to install new energy efficient heat pump
Tech recovered refrigerant charge and flowed nitrogen while replacing faulty reversing valve and biflow filter drier. System passed positive pressure test at 250 psi and standing vacuum test at 280 microns. Tech recharged system with 9 lbs of new R410a and tested system in each mode. Added 12 additional oz lineset charge to achieve 12 degrees design subcooling. Put warranty sticker on failed part. No charge/install warranty.
