- Customer informed tech that there were challenges with air volume produced by the downstairs system upon arrival. Customer stated the issue was noticed the night prior to this visit. - Tech found fan speed set to its lowest setting on blower control board and evaporator coil partially frozen due to lack of air flow. Tech updated fan speed to its high setting and confirmed proper operation and capacitor MFD rating, reading 10.4/10. - Advised customer that tech could de-ice the coil and check operating refrigerant charge for an additional fee. Customer informed tech that the system was operating satisfactorily prior to this visit and a manual de-icing would not be needed during this visit. Tech left power off to downstairs condenser at disconnect and advised customer to restore power after approximately 3 hours of fan run time. Recommended a premium service agreement. Customer will contact office with their decision.
