I arrived to do a pre season tune up I found Thermostat Operation (Raise Temp 5 deg, check & clear faults)- upstairs not cooling well, explained to the customer that it may be a duct work issue but we will check for proper functioning of the ac system. all operating normally at this time

I arrived to do a MISCELLANEOUS install Furnace is a Bryant with 4 wire plug on board. I Had to rewire as regular furnace to install stat. Ran system through both heating and cooling modes prior to departure. System operational upon departure.

I completed A diagnostic service call Customer stated AC system stopped working while they were away from home. I checked filter and verified the air handler blower turned on. At outside coil I found a mouse nest inside behind the plate where contactor resides. the Mouse chewed up one of the Wires going to the contactor. I repaired wire to the contactor. I also cleaned out contactor area and checked capacitor. Capacitor was 45/5, Actual readings was 44.7 and a 4.56. I verified the contactor functionality which seemed acceptable in spite of a mouse being in there. I also checked refrigerant levels which indicated a low charge. I Discussed options with the customer however the customer decided not to do anything at this time. Customer signed up for a SMA agreement therefore I waived the diagnostic fee. System was operating upon text departure.

I arrived to do a diagnostic service call the system is bypassing the board so if ac is on and fan is on auto furnace does not come on. I found system to be low on charge by about a pound and filter was extremely dirty possible leak but I'm unsure. I Discussed option with customer and Customer is going to have his usual hvac company come out for installation purpose

I completed a diagnostic service call on a comfortmaker air conditioner I Inspection capacitor entirely. I Replaced blower capacitor. I Found system low on refrigerant. I Informed customer that there was likely a week customer opted to add easy seal. I Added 1 lb of r-22 refrigerant to acquire desired superheat. At time of departure system operational with a delta of 17 degrees.

This was causing the float switch to cut power to the furnace. I Blew out condensate drain and restarted furnace. I Allowed it to run approximately 15 to 20 minutes with no further issues. This was our install. I'm Not charging for diagnostic. At time of my departure system operational.

Had a low suction pressure and a low superheat. I Found evap coil completely coated with particle build up restricting air flow through the coil. I Advised customer that we would have to schedule to return and pull the coil to clean it. Gave customer pricing, at this time customer wishes to hold off on having it cleaned.
