Hey Timothy! Thank you for calling Kings electric & a/c for your electrical upgrades. Today I was able to finish installing your grounding system for your home, and I also added the surge protector as well. Finally the light in the patio was installed and the dimmer for it too. Everything is working 100% once again. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out. Your electrical technician, Xavier

1)——Upon review of 4 point inspection notes we found that they noted cloth wiring at panel and in attic. 2)——From an Electricians’s stand point this wiring is not considered “cloth wiring”. The wire noted has a cloth jacket with rubber insulated wire, which is totally safe and up to code. Cloth wiring has a cloth jacket and cloth insulated wire which is not safe because the cloth insulation over time gets hard and cracks and falls off the wire leaving it bare and exposed in some spots. RECAP: Their was no cloth wiring in the system and all wiring is safe and up to code.

1)-----Troubleshoot water heater: All connections are tight and voltage is correct. The reset button for water heater thermostat was tripped which is an indication that there is an internal problem with water heater. We reset switch and it held for now. We turned the temperature down to 100 degrees to see if it holds. Water is hot as of now. If it trips again water heater should be replaced.
