For this job I was showing up because the furnace and AC were not working. Upon checking the unit it is clear that the motor had blown and taken the control board with it. Both will need to be replaced. However, soon after I checked that, I checked the heat exchanger, which had cracks and holes in it, and the capacitor, which is also dead for the blower motor. Because of all these repairs, it is much more beneficial to get a new system with a fresh 10 year warranty rather than replacing all these parts, and paying about the same price anyways.
